Bringing Guerrilla Marketing to Leicester

Today marks an exciting milestone for Surprised Studio. We are officially taking our presence to the streets of Leicester. Armed with heavy stock business cards, high contrast posters, and QR stickers, I am spending the day out in the city, connecting face to face with local brand owners, vintage shop founders, and creative directors across the Cultural Quarter and West End.

In a digital landscape dominated by automated ads and crowded feeds, physical offline marketing carries a unique power. Handing a real, tactile card to a business owner or placing a poster in an independent creative space creates an instant human connection that an algorithm cannot replicate. It forces people to pause, look up, and interact with the brand in the physical world.

Leicester is packed with incredible independent clothing labels, pop up concepts, and lifestyle businesses, but many of them are held back by generic product photography and creative fatigue. Our goal with Surprised Studio is simple: help local brands elevate their visual direction through fast, productised 48 Hour Weekend Sprints, giving their inventory the high end look it deserves without traditional agency bloat.

If you see me out in Leicester today handing out cards or putting up posters simply scan the QR code on the card to check out our portfolio and see how we are helping UK brands stop the scroll. Today is just Day 1.
